Back to start
Well, as the saying goes, "A Day lost is a Day gone forever."
I had an idea lately that I would tell my stories in reverse or at least a la Bridge of San Luis Rey. I seem, when I think of these guys, to almost always go to the point when they have graduated and created their adult lives. I usually start with Jug and he tells what happened to everyone else.
I still plan to do that.
However, there is going to be a new series coming out that traces friends in each decade of their acquaintance. I don't know that I like that device because basically you really have to know the end in order to fill in the middle and also keep in mind that if you have a life altering event take place in the middle that is out of sync with the end, then you have to change the end. It can't "just be dream."
I could be snarky and say about the series, "well I saw this once before, it was called 'Almost Grown' and it starred Tim Daly and it was not successful. In fact, he had to go to comedy (Wings) and cartoons (Superman/Batman/Superman Adventures) to get any recognition."
I will still continue on because, "Why Not?"
The next major change will be probably telling stories out of sequence by starting from the "end."
